Englewood, Co. – In spite of the downturn economy and the obvious reduction in consumer spending, two local Englewood businesses are partying on.  Last week, Brian Hart of Frame de Art II in Englewood, CO held a bash for 300 loyal customers and local business leaders. Hart aligned with several local businesses, and CSU Alumni to host a “Business After Hours” event that drew a crowd that extended out onto the sidewalk. Passersby down Broadway were convinced they were missing out on something special. This coming weekend, Ron Skinner, owner of Cartridge World, will host the Englewood Car Show. This free family event is sure to draw a big crowd of local businesses, car buffs and the community, who have missed out on having a local car show for  a few years. He’s encouraging loyal customers to bring in their empty cartridges to fill up his car through the sunroof.

How is it that these two businesses are partying like it’s 1999?

Both Cartridge World and Frame de Art II are sticking together. They are constantly staying connected with their loyal customers and being creative about bringing people to their shops. Both Skinner and Hart contribute regularly to local non-profit organizations by donating their time and their resources. They stay visible in their community, and now, more than ever , they are focusing on great customer service. “Connecting with people is what it’s all about” says Skinner.

Connect with these and your other local shops, and let them know you’re loyal to local business. When the confetti stops falling, Cartridge World and Frame de Art II hope you’ll still be partying with them. Bring your party hat.
